Duck Boat I just finished

I just finished building this boat using 1/4" Luan Plywood, Fiberglass, Polyester and Epoxy Resin along with some marine paint.
This will be my duck hunting boat, I have a 3hp Sears Gamefisher I will eventually put on it. Figured I'd post it on here to show off :)
Took it out for its maiden voyage this sunday. The hull will float unloaded in 1" of water. Tested with just me in it I was in less than ankle deep water poling around. Will finish Camoing this week

Caught a Flounder to put some good juju in the boat on its maiden voyage :)







The sole has enough flotation foam underneath it to keep the boat afloat, I still have work to do like add a rubrail, Winch loop, drainhole, and a small bow cap.

Got my limit Saturday and Sunday, the boat performed well and surprisingly poled well in 15mph headwinds lol

Thanks I guess? lol. It has flotation under the floor and transom support for a small motor...which I'll be needing to put on there asap. I used a kayak paddle this weekend and broke one side, so I poled from the blind back to my truck, then sunday I managed to break the foot off the push pole so that was an interesting trip back lol. I have a 3hp gamefisher I'm gonna put on the boat but need to register the hull with ldwf first...gonna see about building a mud motor for it also.

It really shouldnt be too hard. I have to set up an appointment to meet an officer, they will come out and inspect the hull to make sure its homemade (obviously it is). They may or may not check for receipts...which I have most of them. Hopefully they can give me a temporary registration...I should have brought it back to lc with me sunday but I didnt think ab the motor issue...Its not tough to paddle but dealing with 15mph headwinds this weekend definitely got me thinking a motor is a must...especially when its loaded down. May go hunting this weekend, if thats the case I'll bring it back with me so I can get going on them numbers..
